Past Symposia

The CRED organized an outstanding symposium held in conjunction with the 59th Annual NIEHS Center Directors Meeting in Austin in 2001, entitled “Environmental Carcinogenesis: Hormones, Xenobiotics and Chemoprevention”. There were also symposia in both 2003 and 2004 entitled, respectively, “Experimental Models of Human Disease” and “Diet, Obesity, Physical Activity and Cancer”. Generally, these symposia involved a mix of speakers both from outside the CRED as well as from within the Center and have been very well attended. The symposia are outlined below.
