Administration Overview
The CRED has an Administrative Core comprised of Acting Director Dr. Michael C. MacLeod, and Associate Directors Dr. John Richburg and Dr. Melissa Bondy, who have overall responsibility for management of the Center. As Director, Dr. MacLeod has primary responsibility for communicating with NIEHS on all organizational and financial matters of the Center. He is assisted in this capacity by Senior Administrative Assistant Sydni McGahan.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Core:
- Assign and evaluate CRED membership
- Manage all budgetary aspects of the CRED
- Administer Facility Cores
- Stimulate collaborations and interactions
- Oversee Pilot Project Program
- Oversee Career Development Program
- Oversee enrichment activities
- Participate in NIEHS-sponsored EHS Core Center activities
- Produce the CRED newsletter
- Produce annual reports and renewals
- Develop and maintain website
- Maintain records
